Functions
For Business Meetings and Seminars
- Room Hire $270 per day or $250 per night
- Coffee, tea and biscuits served all day $80
- Morning tea and afternoon tea available at $8 each per delegate and includes an array of muffins
- Fruit platters are available at $60 each
- Tables set to requirements with Mints and water
- Equipment available includes an overhead projector, a whiteboard and markers, extension cords and power boards
- Menus can be faxed or e-mailed on request

- Tables can be reserved in our restaurant with pre-orders
- A mix of gourmet rolls and pita wraps at $10 per delegate (lunch only)
For Private Functions
- There is no room hire charge if the total spent on food and drinks exceeds $2,000. Where this does not occur, a $200 charge will apply ($300 for Sunday’s & Public Holidays)
- A $200 deposit is required to secure the Burwood Room for a function
- Confirmation of guest numbers are required 10 days prior to the event
- Confirmation of catering requirements is required 4 days prior to the event
- A minimum of 16 patrons is required for 50/50 catering
- The Burwood Room comfortably accommodates
- 150 guests for a cocktail-style function
- 70 for a sit-down dinner
- up to 60 theatre-style for a meeting or seminar
- Our music system allows for IPod’s and MP3 players to be plugged in. Alternatively we can assist in organizing a DJ to meet your requirements
- A plasma TV is available for slide shows using personnal lap tops or the Hotels DVD player
- A pool table (coin operated) is available for guests as well as access to a private outdoor courtyard and smoking area
- Guests are able to access the room prior to the function (notice required) to decorate but all fixtures must be first authorized by management
- Due to licensing laws, last drinks are to be served prior to 1am, and all guests must be off premises be no later than 1.30am
- Taxis can be arranged for guests on departure
- Please note: functions on public holidays may incur additional charges
- All 21st bookings will incur a $100 charge to cover security obligations
- A tea and coffee station can be set up upon request at a cost of $80
Basic Drinks List
Carlton Draught $4.20 per pot
Hahn Light $3.90 per pot
House Wines $6.20 per glass (Includes white, red and sparkling.)
House Spirits $7.60
A wide variety of wines are available upon request.
As a guide with working out your finger food requirements we usually suggest multiplying the number of guests by 5 to 6 pieces each.
For example, 100 guests we would suggest ordering 500 – 600 pieces of food.
Hot food options are available up to 9pm Mon-Thurs & Sun, and 10pm Fri-Sat.
